Text of Interview with Villu Tamme on the street in Tallin

How old are you? -Twenty seven.
How many times have you been arrested in the USSR for your appearance? -On average, about once or twice a week for about six years, so about 300 to 600 times.
Do you prefer a black beret [of the anarchists] to a helmet [of the military]? -Yeah, because the band rides motorcycles, and I have a black beret.[He shows it]
Would you take up arms to defend your Fatherland? -I personally don't use weapons.
Last week it was Vilnius, now Riga,[referring to the Soviet suppression of nationalist risings in those cities] will it be Tallinn next Sunday? -Well, quite possible.
How do you live? -Quite like a bourgeois, in a big apartment.
How much is the rent? -about 35 rubles-it's pretty cheap.
Is Perestroika still current? -No, there's a kind of "good night Perestroika" happening.
Where would you rather be now? -uhh...right here! [in Tallinn]
